Ahok : City Remain to Promote Lenggang Jakarta Intensively

Street vendors (PKL) in Lenggang Jakarta, IRTI Monas, Central Jakarta, apparently not only get ease of trading place. But, also get promotion facilities directly from the City Administration. With those facilities, vendors are expected could be more creative and not giving up easily due to deserted costumers. 

If there are street vendors still hawking randomly, that’s problem. Thus we have to curb

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) stated, his party has tried to prosper the vendors by giving some facilities to earn living. One of them is by helping the promotion gradually. 

Lenggang Jakarta Programs will Be Applied in Setu Babakan

"If they complain, just step out. We have promoted intensively," told Ahok, at City Hall, Friday (5/29). 

Ahok acknowledged the problems of street vendor who occupied in Lenggang Jakarta bit similar with the problem in Block G Tanah Abang. The problem is lack of buyers who visit Lenggang Jakarta area due to there are still others street vendors sell in Monas area.

“If there are street vendors still hawking randomly, that’s problem. Thus we have to discipline,” expressed former Regent of East Belitung.

Ahok admitted that he won’t worry if they decide to move their business. It is because still many others street vendors who want to sell in that area.

“There are so many street vendors queue. It called incubator,” he disclosed.
